TESTIMONIAL

When I had the opportunity to paddle a BOS ski at the World Championships in Adelaide in 2018, I knew that I only wanted to paddle BOS skis in the future. As an athlete, I've spent a lot of time in different skis over the last 10 years. However, BOS convinces me the most in all aspects!  Not only through quality, but also through innovation, the possibility to design your own ski and last but not least the good contact to Reece. I can say with good conscience that BOS skis are a good choice not only in the waves of the sea, but also on the lakes in the heart of Switzerland!

MY Experience

SKILLS
Achievements
Personal profile

Besides my work as a professional officer, I am president of the SLSC Innerschwyz, athlete and organizer of the biggest open water competition in Switzerland. As an amateur athlete I love the balance to work that lifesaving sports can offer me.

  • 4x Military lifesaving world champion medalist

  • Current military lifesaving world record holder Line Throw

  • Former junior world record holder Line Throw

  • Swiss national team member since 10 years; multiple European and World championship participant

  • 6x Swiss pool lifesaving champion

  • Junior lifesaving world championship 2016: 6th Beach Flags, 9th Lifesaver, 10th Ski Race

Already as a young boy I tried my hand at many different sports such as athletics, cross-country skiing, biathlon, or lifesaving sports. However, I enjoyed surf lifesaving the most, to which I remained faithful until today.

I entered my first international competitions in 2015, when I was allowed to represent Switzerland at the Junior European Championships. From then on, I was at almost every European or World Championship and was able to celebrate one or the other success.

When I finished my school education in 2019, the obligatory military service was waiting for me, which all Swiss must do. I decided to become an officer and stayed in the army. I especially liked the contact, the training and the leading of young, motivated people.

It is not always easy to do top sports in addition to a time-intensive job, but so far I have managed the balancing act.
My next big goal is the World Championships in Australia in 2024. After 2018, this would be the opportunity to represent Switzerland once again in the country of origin of surf lifesaving.
