I’m a surf sports athlete with a strong focus on board paddling, ski paddling and ironman events. I started out at my local club Caves Beach in the U6’s and although I competed in other sports, I’ve always loved the water and surf sport became my passion. I’m passionate about surf sports because it’s more than just racing – it’s about community, teamwork, resilience and living with purpose. I enjoy the challenge of pushing my physical and mental limits, especially in long, tough races where endurance really counts. I love the ocean- its unpredictability, its power, and the way it demands full focus and respect. I also really enjoy training and competing with the team around me. Our training squad at Swansea Belmont is talented and dedicated and the coaches support us to achieve our goals. It’s a great group – we work hard and push each other. Outside of racing, I work casually as a council lifeguard and I’m studying at the University of Newcastle, which keeps me grounded and constantly learning. I’m also a musician. Music has always been a big part of who I am. Whether it’s playing a gig in a local Newcastle venue or just jamming with mates, music gives me space to reset, get creative, and find balance.
