I first started surf club when I was 5. I started going down to board training with Warilla Surf Club and absolutely loved it. I loved the thrill of being at the beach and catching waves, Dad couldn’t get me out of the water because I had so much fun. When I started to get competitive the board was my favourite and I was pretty good at it. I have had amazing support from Mark Simpson at Infront Surfcraft from the age of 8. I won many state medals from under 10s to under 13s for Warilla Surf Club. Then I moved to the Wanda Surf Club when I was in my first year of under 17s. This was a massive change for me because it is an hour every afternoon to get to training but iIabsolutely love it up there training under Smithy.

I also did a little bit of kayaking during covid which has given me the skills to become a surf ski paddler and it is the reason why I had such a good season in the 25/26 season already having spent the time working on my technique when I was younger. My family also plays a massive part in me trying to be the best athlete I can. From driving me an hour to training and back everyday to making sure I am having the right nutrients in my diet to keep me going. My grandparents also take me to training to help out.

I am currently working toward making the professional irons series as it has been a life long dream of mine. I am very proud to be a part of the BOS team and love the encouragement from Reece. I am excited to see what I can achieve as I begin the race into opens.
