Personal Profile

I grew up in Warrnambool, Victoria, and have always loved being outdoors and around the ocean. I first started Nippers as an Under 8’s and quickly fell in love with beach culture, even when it was freezing cold and windy. Around the age of 10, my dad introduced me to kayaking. Looking back, this gave me a great foundation for the surf ski racing I enjoy today. As I got older, I was drawn to the variety that surf life saving offers. Whether it was ski paddling, boards, swimming, running, or irons, there was always something new to work on and improve. I also enjoy travelling up north to compete in the warm weather and water.

I am in my first year of primary teaching and learning to balance work with training and competition. While I love competing and chasing goals, some of my closest friendships have been formed through surf life saving. They are a huge part of what motivates me to look forward to turning up to training every day.
