SKILLS & INTERESTS

I love going out in massive swell and catching massive waves – whether that be swimming, on my board or on the ski. I love talking to people, especially on the line right when I am about to race (they love it). Another skill I have is being able to lose my craft – board or ski – every single training session. A good skill to have am I right?

I became a member of the BOS team in 2025 and it has always been a dream of mine to be part of such a trusted, high-performing brand. Ever since I started paddling skis in u17s, I have always wanted to own a BOS. Ski has never really been a strength of mine, but from the amazing support from Reece and the BOS team, it has made me want to develop as an athlete and make it a strength of mine for upcoming seasons. I am excited to be a part of an amazing team on such a well-made, high quality reliable product. As my teammates all paddle BOS surf skis, I am excited to be riding one and (hopefully) keeping up with them.

Personal Profile

I only started doing surf lifesaving as a U10. I didn’t even know how to lean back on my board, so my first board sessions as a nipper consisted of me and my face in the sand for the majority of the time. As time went on, my love for the sport grew more and more each season. As I have not always been the best at SLS, it has been a massive challenge for me physically and mentally. But I have continued to grow as a person and an athlete, always motivated to do better.

You will always see me riding down to training in my camo hoodie towel with my sister as I unfortunately do not have my driver’s license yet. Right now I am in high school and will be finishing in 2026 and plan on going to university (hopefully). A personal goal of mine is to make the iron series in the upcoming seasons. Another would be to have ski as a strength since I get told all the time that I would make a great ski paddler as I am tall for my age. A dream of mine is to succeed in surf lifesaving, and hopefully this is just the start of an amazing career ahead.
