I started nippers at North Bondi SLSC in the under 6’s. Although I always loved the beach and the ocean as a nipper, I hated big waves so much that I left the surf club for a year. It wasn’t until my parents brought me down to my first competition training session that I really fell in love with the sport. While I was never particularly talented, I enjoyed pushing myself and seeing myself improve. I believe that attitude has allowed me to find success in the sport.

As a kid, I played many sports, but I stuck with Surf Ironman because I thought there was no other sport that combined the challenge of multi-disciplined competition with the technical expertise required to navigate surf.

I studied Financial Maths and Computer Science at uni and have enjoyed using those skills alongside my sport to build things like the Surf Fantasy platform. I’ve achieved some results I’m incredibly proud of, but I always have new goals I’m working towards. I want to keep improving my results in the Iron Series, and I’m more grateful than ever for the support from BOS, which allows me to achieve great results using the best gear available.
