Irish Surf Lifesaver / Engineer

Ocean swimming / Running, / Ironman

Sea Swimming, Running, Ironman, Pool Swimming

I have joined team BOS in 2022 and the experience has been great. As I live in Ireland getting a craft over across the world is not an easy task, but Reece and his team made it one of the easiest transitions ever. I never had one issue with him dealing communication, to getting myself measured for the ski, to the endless updates of the process of my ski. Reece and his team are the best around and the craft they make are best around without a doubt. I can’t wait to see what the future hold being a part of the BOS team.

I have been in this sport since I’ve been around 10 years old. Growing up by the sea was the probably one of the best things to have for me. As I have made all my friends through swimming through the local club and all the different competitions meeting new people every time.  As a young kid I dreamed about competing at a high level in swimming and lifesaving. At 16/17 I competed at my first international competition as a junior in Netherlands. Since then, I have travelled the world competing 5 times for Ireland at Europeans and worlds.

Throughout the continued training, study and travelling my family especially my mother and grandad have been there through thick and thin to help me get the best possible career in sport and life. I have just finished college to complete my degree in construction management and engineering. So, at 23 I have just started a new job as a site engineer. This is a dream come through but has given me a new challenge of balancing work and training to be able to continue competing at the highest level at international competitions for Ireland.

I hope there is many more years left to travel the world with the sport and compete at the highest level.
