Starting my career at Wanda SLSC as a keen U6 nipper. After watching my three older sisters race around the cans for many years it was not long till I found my love and passion for the ocean and surf sports.
Over the past couple of years, I have achieved many outstanding results. In 2021, I not only got to race at my first Australian titles but got to put my foot on the line to race for the Matthew Barclay trophy I could only dream of winning.
After winning that special race my family and I started to talk about making the move to the Gold Coast. In 2022 I was fortunate enough to be given that opportunity and the move was made.
After 2 years from moving I now see myself at Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park (BHMP) under the expertise of Michael King. Since moving to BHMP I have made so many long lasting friends, memories and experiences.
Why BHMP?Training at BHMP alongside some amazing athletes like Benny Carberry, Sean Riley and Corey Fletcher has not only helped me to become a better athlete but has also helped me to become a better person and to help creating forever lasting friends.
Michael King's guidance is next to none, his expertise in and out of the water doesn't go shy of outstanding. What Michael King and BHMP has done for me is amazing and would recommend to people looking for a fresh start or a second chance at clubbies.
My future in surf sports?What my future in surf sports looks like now is probably just to enjoy it, finding the love to keep going, enjoying the journey and the process that comes with it, having fun with my mates and one day hopefully making the iron series and getting to do the sport I love at the highest possible level.
