Away from the surf club I love footy, anything to do with construction, and may be regarded as a massive star wars nerd.
I have been paddling on a BOS ski ever since 2022, and it’s been a game-changer in my development as an athlete. The ski’s performance, especially in tough surf, where it has the ability to pierce through whitewash, has given me an unbelievable amount of confidence over the last few seasons. The BOS team’s support has been incredible. From fine-tuning my craft to backing me at major races, their commitment is second to none. I’m proud to represent such a trusted and high-performing brand.

Personal Profile
I first got into surf sports as a U13 after a mate at a swimming carnival encouraged me to come down on a sunday to join his nipper crew. My first board session, I was rescued around 3-4 times. Coming from a background in competitive pool swimming helped me stay afloat, and I quickly fell in love with the sport and haven’t looked back. In my younger years, I competed at a high level in a variety of sports, including footy, soccer, basketball, water polo, and pool/open water swimming, but nothing has matched or come close to the thrill, challenge, and community that surf lifesaving provides.
Right now, I’m focused on building my future both in and outside of surf sports. I recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and now work full-time as an A4 building inspector while preparing to begin a Master’s in Building Surveying. Professionally, I’m passionate about the work I do, and in the sporting world, I’m determined to make my mark over the coming seasons. My motivation comes from a relentless drive for improvement, even after some of my best races, I find myself analysing every moment, looking for what could have been done better. For me, no performance is ever truly perfect, and that’s what keeps pushing me forward.
A typical day is full-on starting at 5:13am and wrapping up around 6:30pm, balancing swim sessions, work, gym, and ski, board, or iron training. Outside of all that, I like to switch off with a slightly less intense passion: LEGO and Star Wars. My collection has grown into something that most people would probably consider alarming, but it’s the perfect outlet for me to relax and recharge.
